Lives are over-rated. I had trial version for a while recently and it really didn't live up to my expectations. :P
On the otherhand, congratulations on your posting achievement.

In fact, the state legislators are looking at adding another 1% to the sales tax and then figureing out a way to collect it from mail order and internet sales. :(
House panel passes Web-tax ban (http://news.cnet.com/news/0-1007-200-6764797.html?tag=mn_hd)
"A U.S. House of Representatives panel voted Thursday to bar states from taxing Internet access and extend for five years a ban on other Internet-specific taxes, declining to approve legislation that would help states tax online commerce.
Democrats on the subcommittee and other supporters of the sales tax effort who had hoped to tie the two issues together said they would try again when the full committee takes up the matter in the fall."
Of course the d@mn Democrats want to tax the internet! http://www.gotapex.com/forums/images/icons/icon13.gif

We did get the 0.25% sales tax cut all year.
Unfortunately, due to the power fiasco, it will probably be back next year.

Up here in Ontario, Canada, we have taxes on pretty much everything. The only thing that isn't taxed (that I know of) are essential foods, like milk, bread, and eggs. But that's about it. Everything else gets taxed at 15%. Oh how I long to go on a road trip to Delaware or any other state that has relatively low sales tax. :)
P.S. I always get a kick out of Americans complaining about taxes. :)
