Having pop-ups while on Internet Exposer is one thing, but having some software covertly installed on your machine while trying to check out Alicia Keys is ANNOYING!

WTF!!? I was just browsing and then my mouse pointer morphs and this pop-up asks me if I want to keep Comet Curser. I say, no, the pop-up disappears, and a minute later, the pointer changes again!! Went to Add/Remove, and oh my lord, they had installed not one, but TWO versions of comet curser on my CPU and I had no idea!!! To uninstall, I had to reboot...I want to grab Comet Cursor by the neck, and SQUEEEEZE!!

Why does MicroSloth and these others companies make software so open-ended? Do they think people like their computers to get raped????

Yes, this is one of the problems with Microsoft and being a monopoly.

Almost all the computer viruses, the web server stuff, etc. is due to MS and their keeping all their holes a secret.

Stuff that is more open source is less vulnerable because people can more easily see the holes and patch them.

Comet Cursors is one of the things that Ad-Aware identifies as being "spyware" (and nicely deletes).

Ad-Aware 5.5 rocks. It found stuff that I couldn't detect manualy, sorting through the registry (too big to catch everything) and add/remove software.
I installed it on two of my systems, and plan to check the rest tonight.
