Does anyone know what HP (or any brand) scanner has an attachement or something to scan slides? My dad wants one for his birthday to scan all of his ancient slides from the 70's but I have no idea what model has this capability. He also said there's some kind of rebate on it. (Who knows?)Thanks in advance for the help.

if he needs it to be really high quality he should get a negative scanner (costs about 500)

or you can get the epson one i was looking at.....cheapest i found was http://direct.mwave.com/mwave/doSearch.hmx?bop=and&scriteria=1640SU&UID=PW%2D9547080%2D13509&CID=&Back=&n=1

Thanks for the replies. Do you know of any HP's? Which ones are good? He doesn't need anything top of the line, just something that works well. It is only for home use. Thanks again.

I think Epson has a scanner with a transparency adapter, the 1240 Photo or something like that. You might want to check that one out.
