I got the Microsoft call. First they left a message, I called back, was put on hold and hung up as soon as I realized what it was for. Then they called again a couple days later, and I wasn't sure what to say, but thanks to you guys I had some prep. How many computers do I build...hmmm (none) I build 30-40 computers a month, and who do you build them for...the local schools (yea that def sounds good), and from who do you license your microsoft products from...I don't license them from anyone (safest answer I think). So, my intro kit is on the way, that'll find it's way to the trash pretty quickly, and I had to ask about the t-shirt, and it is coming, so Mission Accomplished.

well since i am a part time consultant i didn't even have to lie, i just answered their questions and they said they'd send me the package. I'm just wondering if there is a way of cancelling your membership or something.

Same, I was able to answer all 3 questions honestly. The Microsoft Rep was very polite.

I signed up last week. When I was filling out the questions i came to the one about "company name." The first thing tht cam to my mind was "Bite Me."
well a few days later I had a message from Microsoft in refence to "Bite Me Corp." I amlost peed myself from the sound of the rep trying to be all serious when he was saying "Bite me"

I think the Microsoft guy knew what was going on when I talked to him, but he didnt act like he cared at all.

Freaken A, I just called the MS OEM thing back. They asked me a few question and since I'm not a system builder or anything like that, I lied like a stinking dog. The representative seem preety satisfied with my answers and he told me my package would be sent to me. I then asked about the Polo shirts and he told me they were OUT of the shirt. Piss me off like crap, I called and lied for virtually nothing. So disappointed......crap!!! http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/mad.gif But then he said that there will be a certificate with the MS package that I can use to redeem future promotional products (like the polo shirt).
