Greetings my Apex brothers and sisters. I have a favor to ask. A friend of mine is interning for a computer company, even though she doesn't know squat about computers. She recently emailed me with a question, that I don't really know much about. Here is is:

Hi sexy EsDeeLoco,
I need good examples of data collection (e.g. games,
contests, that viewers participate in, thus giving
their contact info to the company); instructional
content (how-to instructions for using a product, or
completing a process); resources for the viewer (like
a glossary of terms).

Ok I added the first line as creative liberty. Does anyone know of such websites that collect data like this? I was thinking perhaps shockwave but I'm not sure. Thanks for any input you can give me!

Usually uses a form front with database back, simple ones are in CGI, whil others are in ASP and JSP..... I can't think of a website offhand but there are tons of websites out there that get data for contest and stuff, almost all the pop ups that comes up goes to a website asking for your info...

edit:
o wait, Got|Apex collects huge amounts of data for thier forum info =)
