I signed up for this last week and while I'm sure they're on the up and up, they did a couple of things that made me nervous.

First off, although they give you the option of getting your report online, it is NOT instantaneous. They send you a customer number via email then a pass code via snail mail a few days later. Then you can go to there sight and see your report. I understand why they do this, but their sight isn't clear about this until after you've given your info.

That leads me to my next point. I did not receive my confirmation email for THREE DAYS! I do not like giving out sensitive personal information and then not getting any sort of timely response. Even an automated reply would have been nice, but nope, nuthin'.

So, just a couple of thing to keep in mind if you decide to use these guys.

Well, they have a co-branded version with USSearch and I got my reports moments later (they did mention something about mailing a postcard, but that turned out to be irrelevant and never materialized)

I know I probably could have gotten the reports for free, but it was good to get them instantly and in a consolidated format.

I did the credit report thingy a while back, it took like a week before I got the email, and like two weeks before I got the letter.

DON'T FORGET TO CALL THEM TO CANCEL YOUR CREDIT CHECK SERVICE OR YOU WILL BE CHARGED LIKE $75! It's not hard to cancel it, just call up the phone number on the website (after you have checked your credit info of course) and they cancel it without any hassle.
