Netzero is down to 10 free hours. NetZero fired some people 2 weeks ago. http://news.cnet.com/news/0-1005-200-6749302.html?tag=mn_hd

i think i remember there being something like a jpeg.dll file you can edit with a text editor and erase everything then save it to get rid of the banners.

i dunno if it still works or not though.

One way that works but you need to set up a second computer using ICS. Have the host computer dial out and surf the web with the client banner free.

I did this just to see if it would work and it did.

If your only using to PC's, all you need is a pair of Network cards and a Crossover Cable (http://www.cabletron.com/support/techtips/tk0231-9.html). Just make sure you have both TCP/IP (should already be installed) and Internet Connection Sharing set up.

You can also try dunning the connection, which basically makes it a normal banner free dial up conn. Here are some sites that might be helpful to you:

http://www.dunningfools.com

check their forums, lots of help there.
