Received Ikena DVD Player today!

I just got the Ikena promotional DVD player today. It is a Samsung DVD-511. They mentioned that they might be running another promotion in the coming months -- stay tuned!

Sweet..I should be getting mine soon too, I got an email last thursday saying the dvd players were being shipped on 5/26...(for my account). Doesn't look like i'll be getting the one under my mother's name though..

Got my DVD player not 30 minutes ago!!! It's a Samsung 511 too..I haven't really tested it much, but the two dvd's I tried (evangelion & gundam wing [anime]) worked flawlessly..refuses to read cd-r media though.

I think I'm going to sell mine to a family-friend. Already have a decent Sony and if the 511 doesn't play CDRs, it's pretty useless to me.

Yep, I have a pioneer 525 already, but that's in the family room..I may or may not sell this, i dunno..it's nice having a dvd player in my room, even though i only have a 13" sony tv http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/frown.gif
