dont know if this is a steal or not as i just started looking for these, but its $30-$70 than anywhere else i could find. if anyone knows of better deals or rebates please post.

You might want to edit your link as it has a customer id.

Also, even though the box says Platinum 5.1, the description says nothing about 5.1. There are two version of the Platinum sound card, one is 5.1 the other isn't. The 5.1 just has a implementation of the Dolby 5.1 standard. Also the live drive in the 5.1 has optical inputs and outputs, while the normal one doesn't.
