Hi All,
I have used flooz credit to purchase some DVDs from bn.com. Now the BN.com will not accept my flooz credit. Does any one has new update about the Flooz?
Can we get our money back?
What happened to the people who used AE to purchased discount flooz credit?

Flooz = worthless
Remember the story of Jack and the Beanstock where Jack traded his valuable cow for a sack of worthless beans?
Well, substitute your name for Jack and your credit card for the cow and your have your story.
Sorry.

Flooz has been out of business for about a week.

Who would have thought a company that replaced something as useless as cash/credit with something that you could buy stuff online with would fail. I just don't understand what went wrong!! :)
I used the last of my Flooz for an order at B&N in July. Foolishly (ah, the benefit of hindsight)one of the items I ordered was an advance order for "The Mummy Returns" DVD. The other 2 items in the order shipped weeks ago.
Today I got an email from B&N telling me I would have to pay for the last item by CC as they are no longer taking Flooz. I spoke to a c.s. supervisor and basically made the point that B&N accepted my form of payment at the time and if I had ordered an in-stock item, I would have it already. The problem would then have been theirs, not mine. So I figure that asking me to pay now is really sucky customer service.
He surprised me by actually agreeing and asking me for my phone number so he could "get a clarification". Ok, that probably means "get a better excuse to screw you", but you never know.

TAB: send them an email advising that Flooz was a payment option at the time of the order. Looks like they are honoring the orders after all.

I hope they will honor my order too.
Looks like you were lucky Blueberry. This is the answer I got to my email today (the c.s. rep who took my phone number never called back)...
Dear Customer,
Barnes and noble.com only applies the payment method once the order has shipped. Unfortunately, we are unable to honor request to accept the Flooz payment for this order. To complete your order, you will have to submit another method of payment such as a credit card or bn.com gift
certificate.
If you have any questions regarding the unavailability of Flooz, please contact Flooz directly at
[email protected]
We appreciate your taking the time to write to us. We consider customer feedback critical to the success of our business, and we will pass along your comments to the appropriate personnel.

I would continue to fight that. You have a good point that you would have gotten the item had you bought something in stock. Threaten to quit using them and stick with Amazon because they are honoring Flooz orders already placed. Keep going up the corporate ladder until you find someone who give you an anser you like.
OK, I called the same guy I spoke to the other day and he told me to go back and re-order the item, then send him an email with the new order number and he will modify it to only charge what the original cost would have been after the flooz had been taken off.
That will work fine (as long as he does what he says...I am becoming such a skeptic). It sucks that you have to jump through these hoops though.

Just got off the phone with BN customer service. They will not honor my order. If it was Amazon.com, they probably deliver the items and honor my flooz credit. I will not shop BN.com again.

It's impossible for BN.com to get their money. There is no reason why they should honor your order.
