Hey you guys have been cool by helping me with suggestions on fixing up my 97 accord. Well I had everything planned and everything, I was gonna do the lights, repaint the exterior w/ "special" labor and equipment...hee hee..(aka racing team friends), dye the carpet and paint the vinyl, and of course, get good deoderizer. Its so cool cause I could do everything under 2000, which is less than the 3000 limit. (don't ask how..hee hee) We guess what the problem is now...when I finished work and went back to the parking lot...there was a long dent on both right side passenger doors!!!!! ARGH!!!!! Some jacka$$ hit my car while I was gone and ran off without even a note!!!! GRRRRR!!!! But guess that means I really have to paint it now...hahaah. It's a sign! So do you have any suggestions? I mean w/ the insurance company,w/ the body shop/ or even w/ fixing it myself (aka letting my girlfriend fix it)? Also anyone know any shops in southern cal in the 626 or 949 areas? thanks (especially to coop)

Chill.

I didn't respond because I don't KNOW of any shops in SoCal. Know why? I don't LIVE in SoCal. So either quit whining and wait for a real response, or just go look in your phonebook. A '97 Accord ain't exactly a rare or difficult car to work on, so there shouldn't be any shortage of shops that can handle it.

Hah I'll keep talking about my accord till you all bow down in its awesome glory! j/k. Hah I wasn't whining, just being annoying http://www.gotapex.com/forums/images/icons/icon10.gif For some reason I get kicked off of other forums for that...go fig. http://www.gotapex.com/forums/images/icons/icon12.gifActually I don't care about shops, just wondering if there's an alternative to going to one. And Ice, I wasn't expecting you to live in SoCal, nor was I expecting any of the previous posters to, so I'm not expecting you to answer with a list of shops. G'day. http://www.engr.orst.edu/~hendripa/smilies/type/dunce.gif

I come to you guys asking for help and what do you do? I don't know. hahah. This will (good for you guys) be the last post about my 'lil honda'...as long as nothing else happens to it. Well you've all been nice before, I just like testing people till they pop http://www.gotapex.com/forums/images/icons/icon10.gifHmm I might go with you aglio, and forget the exterior cause that's gonna get busted up anyway and the interior's too much of a hassle, so I'll rip apart that engine till it don't run no more...oh too late http://www.gotapex.com/forums/images/smilies/embarassedlaugh.gif

You look young and I don't know anythiong about your insurance company but chances are if they find out your car was hit and it is registered in your name your rates may go up a lot. If they will cover it with out a rate increase, check your local laws, and insurance policy then get the money from them to fix it. In NY you dont have to get it fixed unless you choose to and you can spend the money from the estimate on whatever you want. For example performance mods, getting a different car or redoing your interior. Do some research, and I would not suggest doing the bodywork yourself it will prbably just come out looking like S@#$. later-Pete

And for the rest of you lay off the little guy even if you think he is a PITA. No one forces you to read his posts. No offense intended just trying to make sure we all get along.

Hah thanks coop, you're the best. I think the same laws apply in cali, cause some of my friends (the ones I haven't annoyed away) have done the same things with the insurance money (mods, etc). All you guys who were mad at me or whatever, I forgive you http://www.gotapex.com/forums/images/icons/icon10.gif I'm so compassionate huh? j/k. Have a nice day everybody! won't hear from me anymore...about my accord! Oh I'm 19 if you wanna know, I just act like a kid all the time..hee hee

No problems just didn't want him getting scared away, sort of speak. And I agree with you that once someone starts doing annoying stuff for the sake of being annoying they deserve to be told to quit it.

Oh I didn't start the thread on the basis of being annoying, just after a few comments in the same thread then I just continued it for the sake of buggin, but I learned my lesson and I'll post fewer threads. g'day
