Dear [first_name],

Greetings from Philips Audio Club!

WANTED-50 beta-testers!

We're excited to bring you an invitation prepared exclusively for Philips Audio Club members. We are looking for 50 volunteers to test our 8cm eXpanium eXp401, 8cm MP3-CD Player and tell us how to make it better. Join the test and meet the all-new, pocket-sized 8cm eXpanium eXp401. It's a small player with big features.

8cm expanium -- Rock it in YOUR pocket!
We've compressed the player. now you compress the music!
The all-new, pocket-sized 8cm eXpanium eXp401 is Philips' exciting, new-generation MP3-CD player. We've used 'pocket science' to create a miniature player that's 40% smaller than a standard CD player - but still really big on music.

The eXp401 uses cheap and convenient blank 8cm CDs, which can hold a full THREE HOURS of tunes (compressed at 128 kbps). Simply Rip it! Burn it! Spin it! to compile and play a whole pocket full of your choice in music. Powered by a single AA battery, the eXp401 is cheap to run yet still comes equipped with 100-second Magic ESPT (Electronic Skip Protection) technology and powerful Dynamic Bass Boost.
Got a pocket? Get ready to rock it!

Become a beta-tester at http://www.audio.philips.com
The eXp401 beta-test application period runs from 09: 01 AM, Wednesday, August 15, 2001 PST, to 12:00 midnight, Friday, August 31, 2001 PST. As our much-valued Philips Audio Club member, you are among the first to receive this advance notice of the beta-test. Sounds interesting? Then join us!
