hp 9900ci $100 rebate gone?

so my order finally arived from buy.com and i go to fill out the rebate form and its gone. does anyone by chance have a copy of it or know what i can do. hp said that the offer was over and therefore she couldnt give me one? thanks.

buy.com has never emailed me that they've shipped mine... that's starting to bother me b/c the rebate has a deadline... hope i can get in on this deal. kellybrf, when did urs? thanks.

i placed my order on 8.3 and it shipped on 8.15. i had talked to them and hp screwed them by not sending a HUGE shipment on like the 10th or something. i also called hp when i wasnt sure about mine coming and they said if sept 7th rolls around and nothing has come that they may be able to help me. id suggest printing the cupon out now while you still can though. good luck.

I placed my order on 8/5 and still haven't received anything, via email or otherwise except the usual "Still looking..." email from buy.com. The rebate has to be postmarked by Sept. 7th, but I'm not worried though. I will just cancel the order if it hasn't shipped by Sept. 2nd or around there. I wouldn't be surprised if I end up having to cancel, I have a history of problems with orders on buy.com when they go into the "on order" status.

I got my delivery confirmation card, that they got my rebate, but I didn't check online status, I doubt it will be there. (It is a way to go- delivery confirmation- around $2 to guarantee they won't weasel out of giving you $100)

Yea... I got my check today, after sending it off on Aug 8, with everything they asked for.... and the check was for $50 not $100, I printed out the $100 rebate, but I guess that didnt matter to them. I will be calling them tomarrow!:(

That would suck. Let us know what they say. I'd like to know how they resolve that in case it happens to me.

When did you guys who received the rebate mail it out?

I mailed it out in the middle of August (around the 15th or 16th). According to the return receipt card, it was received by the fulfillment center on August 22.

That's quick. I mailed mine out August 27 and it still hasn't shown in their online system. It says it takes 28 days though to show up though.

Just got a check for $100 from HP. Sent in the rebate on August, 15. Of cause it never appeared on the status check...
Anyway, got my 9900ci from netmarket with a 200% low price garantee to bring the price to 60$ below buy.com price, with another 100 from Hp , that makes it about 20$ for a combo, some people mention about getting it from Dell for free, but I wasn't one of them :)

When I went searching for this rebate form originally I just searched on their site and it came up in the results. Now I can't find it. Maybe they said they couldn't find it because "top secret deals" aren't listed in the normal system the customer service reps use?
