I stopped playing my Druid a few weeks back at level 42 and started a new sorceress. I am totally sick of the all too common firewall, meteor, blizzard, and frozen orb sorcs though...so i chose to specialize in a different sort of magic... My lvl 33 sorc has maxed out charged bolt and i'm working on pumping into lightning mastery. Gotta love it...it's funny running through games where higher level people are hacking away and just flooding an area with about 300 CBs (a level 1 skill) in a period of 2 or 3 seconds and killing everything in sight. When I stand right next to Mephisto in an 8-polayer game and fire off my CB, it takes off about 1/5 of his life. Now that's a nice lvl 1 skill.

ps - i'm glad they nerfed the fire and cold spells. it kills off those uber-sorcs that were too popular before.

I want to try the Amazon. Nobody seems to use that character. Is she that weak? I used the rogue in Diablo 1, and I kicked butt.

The amazon is strong...after a while. If you end up making an amazon, I can hook you up with some pretty nice crap. I have so many "+1 amazon skills" and "+1 bow and crossbow skills" items. Just remember to pour most of your points that would go into strength right into dexterity (except when you need some extra strength for some armor).

man i have an amazon but really the spear things are really useless heh i think everybody already knows that....i started with a spear amazon and she is sooo bad....then i started another with a bow i had gotten from a friend which was like +1 now it's really kool....

it took me sometime to find someone to help me move stuff from my other amazon.... :P

if you need some help "muling" items, i'll be glad to help. I regularly have friends do this, and you know I won't cheat you. I only have non-hardcore expansion characters though. I can make any other type of character if you need me to though...just for the transfer.

you know that you could create a game, play for five minutes, and leave your stuff on the ground somewhere, and comeback w/ another char and your game will still be there (stuff and all)?

I thought it was 15 minutes...but yes, I did know that was a possibility. I usually go through friends because that way, if the realms drop, then I don't lose my items (it has happened to me before...)

Just last night I created a rune mule, a perfect gem mule, and a unique mule, all under a new account name (the one I used during the Got|Apex? SC tourney...).

i lost a few +1 skills items that way, so i hate going through the drop and recover method. when i DO drop and recover, i usually go toa 3 or more person game that has existed for atleast 15 minutes, and then hide my items and pick them up after switching characters.

It's pretty frustrated that USWest has been down all day. US East is back up now, ut I don't have any characters worth playing on US East. D'OH! I MAY practice Starcraft, but I strongly doubt it.

has anyone seen a ring of Jordan? I hear they are common, but I have yet to find one. I have a wussy lvl 42 Sorc(with sweet stuff though ;) ).

i used to have 2 Stone of Jordan rings (both were actually found rather than traded) on my pre-expansion Necromancer, but then I stopped playing for so long that the character was deleted...so I can't use them anymore. I've been looking, and if you really want them...some vendors sell those rings and other items through Paypal...

Oh yeah...US West comes back up tonight around 8 PM, but unfortunately I'll be driving south starting around 7 pm...so I won't be able to play again until Thursday night. I miss my Diablo...

I've recently started saving up unique and set items in D2X. I have a bunch of low level items, but I've decided to become one of the collectors. If anyone has any uniques or set items that they would just sell back to the NPCs, just IM me instead and ask if I'm interested. Unless I already have the item, I probably will be. Thanks.
