Just a warning that the AuctionWatch "Free Golden Dollar Coin when you register" offer may be bogus. I signed up for this a couple of months ago and never received a thing. Anyone actually get one of these?

Got mine about a month or so ago.. However if you want to get one immediately, go to your local Walmart, they have them to sell guarenteed.

I get these golden dollars almost everyday from Metrocard Vending Machine (NY) so I won't post the request for ONE "golden" dollar coin.

My wife and I and our four house guest all got ours, they're small but kinda neat for free. Is there a number to call or anyway to check?

Instructions for obtaining a Gold Sacajawea Dollar Coin in NYC:
1. Go to any subway station.
2. Check to see if MetroCard vending machines exist at location.
3. If they don't exist, leave station and repeat Step 1.
4. If they do exist, choose a machine of your choice and purchase or refill a MetroCard.
5. Wait. Machine will provide change in GOLD dollars and quarters.
Note: GOLD dollars will only be given if the machine owes you a sum greater or equal to a dollar.
Hope you find this useful, MadCool. Heh heh! http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/rolleyes.gif

Heh heh! To tell you the truth, I prefer dollar bills over the coins. I lose coins very easily.

Haven't seen many of these in Nevada... guess I'll have to wait til the slot machines take them and then we'll get flooded with them...

Ugly I don't like golden dollar either, I always lose them. Yet, I like the new vending machines, no lines (some people don't know how to operate) never gives any problem. Moreover you can do transactions in different languages I used Chinese, i did not understand a word, bu it was fun.

i got mine a while back also; does anyone else think that putting sacajawea on a coin is stupid? hell, i'd rather have a coin with sitting bull in full battle gear http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/smile.gif.
Has anyone else seen the new $5 gold coin? It looks pretty cool...but the mint is trying to sell them off for 80 bucks apiece. Am i missing something here? It is only worth 5 DOLLARS!
