If any of you are readers of ESPN.com, you'll know the journalism is...a little bit shoddy, a little bit boring, a lot second-rate to the Sporting News.
However, if there's a gem obscured by so much worthless rock that is ESPN.com, it's Bill Simmons on Page 2. Just take these absolutely side-splitting nuggets as an example:
On Terry Glenn: http://espn.go.com/page2/s/simmons/010822.html
On basebrawls: http://espn.go.com/page2/s/simmons/010815.html
On getting his first WWF PPV: http://espn.go.com/page2/s/simmons/010821.html
On "Hard Knocks", the documentary on the Ravens' training cap: http://espn.go.com/page2/s/simmons/010806.html
A favorite, his comparison of the NBA offseason to Boogie Nights: http://espn.go.com/page2/s/simmons/010727.html
And I think my absolute favorite, a tale of him sitting in his living room with his dad watching the 2001 NBA Draft: http://espn.go.com/page2/s/simmons/010628.html
Enjoy, and try not to disturb the cube next to you
