View Full Version : (Potential) FREE vacation in Vegas

I am negotiating with a certain famous celebrity right now.
The deal at present is 4 days/3 nights for two in a Vegas strip hotel (most are nice, but not the top places) along with 4 show tickets. You can book IMMEDIATELY and so you don't have to wait 60 days or something like those scam certificates on Ebay.
The catch is that you have to listen to a 90-minute timeshare presentation.
The further catch is that you have to be a couple (or can pass for one -- same sex is ok, so bring a friend and pretend :heh: ) Also you have to appear to be a potential buyer (ex. You can't be 16, sorry Passwird)
There are no other fees and you can shorten the trip to only 2 days or something if you wish.
Book your own flight any way you want.
If I can get some interest from people on here (I estimated to them at least 10-15 G|A'ers) then I will close the deal and work out something with Apex to kick him some $$ in exchange for promoting this.

Is it the guy from the Munsters?

Ya, who is the famous person. Tell us!!

The person is not the deal.
The advantage for people here is that this is a deal that you have an insider working on for you (unlike the traditional "click and do it yourself" ones)
I am just finding if there is reasonable interest from people

The only reason why I asked is because I know if you call some toll free munsters number you get a very similar deal.
The guy just opened a resort here and is offering the same package for the trip to here in return for listening to the sales pitch. But for the life of me, I can't remember if it was a 899 or 866 or what. Oh well. :)
Come visit anyway :)

Are you sure "only" 90 minutes timeshare presentation? Meaning I can walk out the place after 90 minutes is up? and still get all the goodies? Most of the time, the sales Rep. will not let go for 2 to 4 hours. They will first let you have a breakfast (10 minutes) and talk to you what they got (30 minutes) and show you the actual time share (45 minutes ~ 1 hour) then Negotiate price with you (2 hours minimum). They will try to sell you package from 20k+ to 200 bucks. TheLoneGunman, let us know if we can walk out the place after 90 minutes and still get the goodies, otherwise, that's waste of our time. I am not trying to be nasty, just the fact that most of us just want the free stuff more than time share.

For those who are planning to go with TLG to Vegas, and are so inclined, you may have a chance to be a REAL GUNMAN (with a Uzi) for a day. Check out: http://www.frontsight.com/1day_smg_course.htm.
They are offering a FREE! one-day Uzi shooting course, including free food (breakfast & lunch), free beverages all day (hopefully no booze), free instructions, free ammo, etc. You must pre-register and it is available only for certain dates from mid-September thru early December.
After this TLG won't be alone any more.

I've heard about this place outside of Vegas that offers this deal to get people interested and hopefully to buy stuff. It's totally legal and legit, just hard to get in on. Good luck to us.

Has anyone sat through one of these sales pitches? I never have, but I couldn't imagine ever buying a timeshare. Really, I'm such an enormous tightwad, there is absolutely NO WAY they could convince me to buy one. I've heard they get you to put down on paper how much you normally spend on vacations, then show you how much less expensive a timeshare is. Well, I would have to put down a big fat zero for my vacation budget. We just don't go. We just go visit family instead. And there ain't no timeshares near our families, unless they've built some in the middle of a cornfield in Southern Minnesota!
So, what kind of "angle" would the salesman take with me?

I'd be interested, My girlfriend and I have actually been looking into getting something in Vegas, we live in L.A. and are out there all the time anyway. This would be pretty cool and one helluva deal if it goes through.

The Free Shooting (http://www.frontsight.com/home.html) link before didn't work. Click this one and go to free course in the middle of the page.

We went to one of these presentations a couple of months ago. It took a little under 2 hours. It's easy to say "no", just be firm, and if they put on the pressure, smile and start getting a bit rude and hostile. They'll give you your freebies and you're out of there.
I've also done the free sub machine gun course. It's great fun and their pitch is very short and low key. The presentation is done to the entire group so there is no one-on-one pressure. Do check it out!

I'd be interested if I could line up the free Vegas trip with the free shooting day :)

here's a link (http://www.frontsight.com/1day_smg_course.htm) directly to the free course page. The dates for the free course are right there. There's about 4 days a month. There's one Comdex weekend, so that might get packed quick.
