I am trying to buy a book from Amazon.uk right now and have it shipped to CA. When i put in the shipping address it says the postal code is not valid, the zip code i am trying to send it to is : 94705-2447

Is there something that I am missing? can someone tell me what is wrong? Thanks in advance.

postal codes have a different format... it probably thinks you are sending it to Canada...

Did you try removing the last four numbers? You don't always need them. Another idea would be to remove the dash and make it one long number. Some countries only identify are zip as one number and not two.

Just call their customer service and ask.

I originally inputed the 94705 number, then tried the 94705-2447, and now the 947052447, but none seem to work. Is there something i am missing to make it realize its the US, despite the fact that I have chosed UNITED STATES as the country? Thanks in advance and for those who replied, though it still isn't solved if anyone can help me.

Yeah, thats the other problem, see i don't have internet access at home just yet (just moved here and cable modem isn't going to be installed until the 6th) and i don't ahve a phone where i am using the comp. at, so i am looking for a quick fix without going the 15 minutes home, then the 15 minutes back here.
