Well, I refused an order from Staples over 2 weeks ago, because they say they cannot cancel it. I call Staples today, they say "We show it was returned, we are not sure why you haven't been credited. Wait another 7-10 business days to see if you get credited."
Well, I'm not waiting a month for the percentage rate on AmEx Blue to go up because of this crap so I called AmEx.
CSR says, "We have been having a lot of complaints and problems with Staples, and are thinking of dropping them." They immediately credited my account, and told me that if Staples does or doesn't credit my account it wouldn't matter, because I have the credit already.
AmEx told me I should have called the instant they said they could not cancel the order, so for all of you who use AmEx, remember this for future.
