Raiders for Superbowl?

im both a fan of the raiders and 49ers. I dont like to admit to being a fan of the 49ers that much (cause they suck). Last week when they played i figured the raiders would whoop the crap outa the niners but that didnt happen... and when the raiders cant beat the niners im scared... it was probably just a pre-season thing i hope though. I knew rice wouldnt stick around too long after young left... they were kinda buddies. Although Garcia and the rest of the niners offense are pretty good...the d is ****ty. I was glad to see rice go to the raiders, however i think hes gonna end up much the same salary cap drain he was on the niners with his multiple knee injuries.

Ne ways im hopin raiders for the superbowl this year.

once they get their D up to par, i'm saying its Chargers all the way! i mean, you got pro-veteran Flutie in there, and now theres Brees, who seems very, very promising. Then you got Gaynor, who also has mass potential as a play-maker. I'm tellin y'all, its gonna be a turn-around season for the Chargers.

Basically you have a draft and pick players from the NFL to be on your team. Then each week during the NFL season you get points for your team based on how the player performs that week. E.g. if you have Randy Moss on your team, and he scores 4 touchdowns against the hated Bears, you would get 24 points + bonus points for the yardage. You play head to head against someone elses team each week. At the end of the season there is a playoff until someone wins the championship.

I also think the Chargers are going to be vastly improved, both record-wise, and just in general quality. Sure, they have the worst O-line in the league. But they're defense, remember, has been one of the best in the league for years. They were just on the field so much last season, they wore down towards the end of the game and the end of the season.

Things are definitely looking up for them.

In a related note, I wouldn't hesitate to bet money that the Cowboys, as much as I hate them, do as well or better than the 'Skins. Really. Jeff George has never made it through a season I can remember, and then you're counting on Sage Rosenfels or (gulp!) Tony Banks. At least in Dallas, they know what they're starting with, and can gameplan for the season knowing they have absolute crap under center.

Ah, wouldn't matter. When you got Michael Westbrook as your #1 receiver, Joe Montana wouldn't do you a whole hell of a lot of good. Plus they lost so much depth and quality on the O-line...
