Any of you can help with printer question?

my boss has two computers, one a pc and one a mac.
he is looking to buy a printer, is it possible for both OS to print to the same printer? (how can this be accomplished?) or will he need two printers, special software/hardware etc.

i;m not too familiar with mac's so thanx for any help ya can offer. =)

If the PC, Mac, and printer are USB-capable, you could probably connect them with a USB hub. Or, if the printer can handle it, connect the parallel interface to the PC and the USB interface to the Mac.

....working at bestbuy, i'll tell you that most of the inkjet printers are both pc and mac compatible. and most of them are both parellel and usb connectivity...therefore you can do what topane just suggusted
