Sweet and Sour Peaches

I have grown a new specialty in my yard, but don't know what to with them.

They are peaches that are super sweet on the outside and sour (like those sour candies) on the inside.

Not sure what to do with them (they are all ripening in the next few days)

Peach pie!! Yumm, my favorite!

Slice peaches, add some cinnamon and nutmeg... some brown sugar and some white sugar... some cornstarch in water... stir... fill a pre-made pie crust, add top crust... brush an egg white on the top, sprinkle with sugar, and bake until golden brown!

But they are NOT the traditional sweet peaches.

Also, they are a little on the small side.

pie or buckle, then you can add as much sugar as you want. buckle is easier... you just do the pie filling in a baking dish and on top you throw oats, brown sugar and a hell of a lot of butter on top.

Share them with people! Just don't warn them about the special nature of that variety. Sit back and watch the fun. Talk about how much effort you put into them so people will feel obligated to try and pretend they are normal peaches.
