Cityspree celebrates Labor Day with a FREE SHIPPING AND
HANDLING Sale! From now until Midnight on Sunday,
September 2, all auctions start at only 15% with no
shipping and handling charges!!

You can get a $25 gift certificate for as little as $3.75!!

Still I'd be wary -- although they've come through on my order with them. It seems the variety of merchants has shrunk to less than 50%, so many merchants are pulling out, etc.

In hindsight this really isn't that great of a bargain because they usually offer starting bids of 10%, and now kicking it up to 15% with free shipping is basically including the cost of shipping ($2 per cert) into the price of your certificate for ones $40 and up.

I know, I know, rumor is they are going bankrupt but still....

I bid on a certificate yesterday and on one today; I'm going to Tojai! (if they still honor the certificate by the time I get it)
I called before I bid and they said they did still take them.

Question:
shipping is supposed to be free (yes, I noticed they raised their starting bids from 10% of the face value of the certs. to 15%) but the page still has the shipping charge of $2 on it. Wonder if I was charged it? By the way, if shipping is free, and because they raised their prices by 5% of face value of each certificate, you still save a few more cents.

Let me know if they take your cert I also have one for that restaurant and haven't used it yet. [I'm also in San Diego]

O.K., I'll try to remember about this thread and to let you know if they still take them but it won't be until about a month from now when I will be receiving the cert. since it takes them so damn long to mail them now. Remember when it used to only take two or three days?-Ahh the good ol' days!

What are some of your favorite restaraunts here in S.D. you've used the certs. at? My favorites would have to be "The Gulf Coast Grill" and "The Fishery" and "Cass Street Bar and Grill". There are a lot of really great ones I was able to go to but I can't think of the names right now.

Also, the one for Belmont Park was great!! My wife and I got to go on all the rides as many times as we wanted and it was only like $8 or $10.

If you like Cajun food, Chateau Orleans in PB is a great choice.

A business can only file bankruptcy once (once they have cleared the first bk, they can file another, though)

Therefore, if they filed in March, they are REQUIRED BY THE COURT to honor everything they do after march.
