It has been raining here in Houston for at least 3 days now. If it keeps up like this, we could be facing another flood. This is total suckage because I can't go mountain biking or street skating. What the heck am I supposed to do? :(

Cripes!! I just checked the radar and the 10-day forecast on weather.com and saw this:

D'oh! It doesn't look like I can make any plans yet for the 3-day weekend! :bawl:

Heck, I don't remember the last time it rained here!

I will take rain over 100 degree weather for months on end any day of the week.

Does any place exist that has moderate weather? It's too hot in CA for me, same with NV, AZ, NM, TX, etc. Too gd many clouds in WA and OR, too humid in NY, FL.

Does moderate weather even exist anymore?

High 60's and low 70's is to hot for you? That's what we are getting in San Diego. No rain though.:D

Cali doesn't only consist of Southern Cali you know... there are other places in Cali which happen to have perfect weather, in my opinion(if you don't mind a little chills in the evenings like me). Since you're complaining about the "heat" I assume you have similar climatic preferences as I do. So come up and live in the dreamland that's called SF. Also there are no mosquitos here.

No Cal has got fairly good weather. Not too hot, not too cold. I like it! :thumb:

The ground is so saturated now that water is basically standing everywhere. On the way to work this morning, I drove in the middle lane on a road I always take to the freeway because I knew that there would be standing water along the right lane. Sure enough, people who were in the right lane felt that it was their right to swerve into the center lane to avoid the water so that they might maintain their speed rather than slowing down and driving through the water. I was able to avoid collisions because I was anticipating that people were stupid enough to swerve over into my lane.

We could use some of that rain here in Utah. Its looking like we won't be having any water next summer, and the Olympics should be interesting, since the forcast is calling for an extremely light snowpack this winter.
