$30 is a damn lotta money for this. Do they have Simpsons seasons on VHS? I think they should make a "best of Homer" DVD/video.

$30 for 3 Discs is cheap.

True, I didn't see that, but that second disc is all commentary. That doesn't do much for me.

I'm a hudge Simpson's fan, but as I said in the last thread, to bad the first season kinda sucked.

i'm not too sure if i've even seen the first season...
but i think that it would be better if they waited for every season and put it in a package...maybe will be cheaper buying one at a time...
i think it would be cuz buying in bulk is cheaper than in little quatities sometimes
(don't listen to my advice...it's never any good)

The later seasons (Season 1+) will retail for more than $30 because they had more episodes.

Admit it; Season 1 did not live up to the standards that the writers later set (and then eventually forgot). The best seasons were from Season 2 through about season 7...right?

In the first few seasons it was all about Bart. They soon came to realize that Homer, not Bart, was the funniest charcter. I mean, how long can "Don't have cow man" and "eat my shorts" be funny. Bart lost his luster after the second season and Homer stole the show. I love Bart, don't get me wrong, but he's better supporting than as a lead character. I can't wait for the 3rd-7th seasons to come out. Or I guess I could make my own tapes by recording each episode at 6:30 and 7:30 on FOX weekdays. Maybe I'll do that...it's cheaper.

Plus the first season's animation and voice acting was extremely fuff around the edges. You would want to burn me at the stake after you see them...
