I just got both the box sets of the Robotech shows now out on DVD and let me tell you...BOO YEAH! I've never been happier! I loved those freakin shows growing up and now I got them on DVD! YEAH BABY YEAH! I got some cool toys too!

(Sheesh reading this you'd have a hard time believing I just turned 27...)

Any other big ROBOTECH fans out there?

Starblazers was sooo cool! Is that out on DVD? Son of a...I have to go find it!

That must have been just a bit before my time because I was really into ThunderCats, Voltron, and Masters of the Universe.

Those were good too. But I was more into Robotech, Starblazers, GI Joe, and Transformers.

Anyone remember the Silver Hawks? That was a cool show too, or at least when I was a kid it seemed cool...

Or how about C.O.P.S. or M.A.S.K?

Yeah, I remember M.A.S.K.!

And yes, Silver Hawks was indeed cool! It's a shame that Saturday morning and after-school cartoons are not as cool as they used to be. If I was a kid again, I would want all of the cartoons that I used to watch as a youngster, but I would want all of the cool toys that are available today. I go into a toy store keep saying to myself, "Man, I wish I would have had toys like this when I was a kid!"

Why do you think I keep buying action figures? They just keep making them cooler! I'm hooked and can't stop buying them. I like to take action figures from the past and put them next to ones today and just go, "Look at that! They just keep getting better!" Sometimes I have to wonder just why the wife puts up with the growing collection.

Battle of the Planets has the first 3 volumes on DVD now.

Have you folks seen the really lame new Voltron Shows with the computer animation. Man those suck. They also tried to take the old Voltor with the lions and re-dub it with different voices to make it seem like a newer show.

cartoons today are starting to get better but there was quite a dry period there. I like the X-men Evolution and Men In Black. That Batman Beyond Movie that came out was very cool. Then there's Samuri Jack! That's a great show.
