Servisense check from Gomez arrived

For all those who signed up with Servisense a few months ago (from the deals page). You should be receiving your Gomez $50 check real soon (got mine today). Gomez stopped the deals recently so I wasn't sure if they were going to honor pendind deals but it looks like they are. Gotta love free money and cheapier phone bills.

Wasn't so hot for me- they wanted to replace my long distance, added a middle man between you and a phone company, so if you were overcharged , you dipute with them, they disput with a phone company- I don't expect anything good out of it, congratulations on this deal working out for you.

Replacing the long distance company is what they do, if you didn't want that then don't sign up. I don't use any long distance on my home phone (use my cell) so the cheaper rates on LD didn't do anything for me. But my phone bill was normally about $23.. it has now dropped to $17. Now that I got $50 to boot the deal seems pretty sweet. I've called them and had to deal with some billing questions but they are very responsive and helpful.
