Just got done watching a fairly weird movie called Kikujiro. Makes me wanna be a kid again. Don't know why. the kid in the movie had it pretty rough. That movie also got me pretty depressed. I hate being depressed when i goto bed, it gives me weird dreams.

I don't wanna grow up, I'm a Toys R Us kid.
There's a million toys at Toys R Us that I can play with.
From bikes to trains to video games, its the biggest toy store there is.
I don't wanna grow up because if I did, I wouldn't be a Toys R Us kid.

congrats for straightening out our board's youngest member, hapoo. How can he be 14 years old and not know all of the words to the Toys'R'Us song? I guess they don't advertise as much anymore...

Kikujiro no natsu.
That's a great movie...
It's one of Takeshi Kitano's films that screams "I can be a real film maker too!"
I want to watch Battle Royale.

When I was a kid-I had to walk 5 miles to school in the snow-BAREFOOT-UPHILL all the way there and back, and then I had to stop and scrub the convent floor for the nuns before I went home and had to share a bowl of oatmeal for dinner with 5 siblings. Bathtime was harsh-that metal tub of water in front of the coal stove was a real bitch-especially when you were the youngest and had to use the water last..http://www.duhspot.com/users/smiley/s/contrib/sarge/MrT_anim.gif (thinking of Darkfury when I saw this)

I agree, although hapoo forgot the "Gee Whiz" after "biggest toy store there is". I suspect he did this for obvious reasons...

Being a kid sucks big fat donky b****.
I feel sorry for all kids, because they are stuck as kids until they grow up and learn disillusionment.

Because the "gee whiz" comes from a different voice than the rest of the song...

Dude! You can't mess things like this up! It's "Chuck E. Cheese" and don't you forget it! How old are you? If you're a teenager or older, they always yell at you and tell you to get out :(...umm...not that I've tried...

Do you ever wish you could be a kid again when you see all the cool toys and things that kids can play with now? Like the reissuing of Transformers? Or the action figures? I know I can still buy the toys but I don't have the time that kids have to play with them . . . plus, I can't have my friends come over to play either (damn grownup rules).

One day I hope to know what it's like to grow up but whats the point? I play my video games, I buy my Action figures, play with my kids on the play ground. There's just no reason to stop being a kid! KIDS FOREVER!

I think thats the rationality behind places like Dave and Busters...a HUGE Chucky Cheeses for adults. In this day and age...we grow up TOO fast...take on too many responsiblities at too early of an age. And so hear we are...adults looking to get away and be kids again. playing video games while downing a cocktail or beer...this world we live in is so weird :)

But at least they tried... didn't they? Maybe they should add some strippers... I bet THAT would bring in a crowd!
They have a dave and busters in Irvine and San Diego. Been to both. It's a international chain with locations all over the world. "Block party" is just a wannabe place :D
