Dave Matthews is pretty crazy on the guitar. You should learn how to read tabs to get the full DMB experience.

to get the full guitar experience, one should learn to read music. if you play guitar because you "wanna rock," then you use tab. if you play guitar because you love the instrument, then you read music :D

my comment was that tab requires that you hear a piece of music before using it. if you combine tab with standard notation, it makes up for some of that. if you dont want to learn to read music, it's fine by me. i don't want to get into a debate and have misunderstandings about the meaning or my original statement :D
