I just got a Hercules 3d prophet kyro 4500 for my friend. It runs fine except when you try playing games, any games, the screen splits. So there's a full picture up top and below that it's another copy of the same picture. This is using the viewsonic Viewpanel vg150 monitor. When we tried it with other monitors everything works fine. Anyone know of an incompatibility issue with the kyro and the flat panel viewsonics?

This is gonna sound stupid and I don't mean to insult you but, did you try adjusting the picture being displayed on the monitor? If not, also try displaying the game at the same resolution as the monitor. That could be your problem since lcd's have only one "native" resolution where the others are emulated in a manner. . .

Yup, and yup. We tried pretty much everything and it seems like it's only with that particular monitor that it screws up in.
Thanks spigs. 1st reply in 3 months.. :)

Hmm. . . guess its a hardware problem then. . . make sure you got all the updates for the games and the correct driver installed for that monitor. Sorry it took me 3 months to notice this thread. I try to go through all the tech and hardware problems making sure everyone gets some response, even if its my dumbass wannabe help.

Get philips screw driver and jam it into the screen.
hmm I've never heard of this kinda problem before...Have you tried updating the drivers for your monitor? When in doubt...reinstall drivers or update. Hope that helps

More like that'll teach you to waste dough by jamming screwdrivers into it. . .
