Store price $199 - rebate $50 - trade in $50 = $99!

I just went to Staples. And this deal does not work. The trade in is only for HP Jornada 548. Not just any PPC. You can go to staples.com or take a look at the flyer.

Probably mentioned (several times?) before, but you can get a iPaq 3135 (with CF sleeve) for $90 after MIR from Circuit City B&M/circuitcity.com. Shipping is free from circuitcity.com on this, too. I ordered one on Sunday and they were in stock online, but all stores local to me were out of stock.

Sorry I saw the sign in the store last night and it made no mention of which handheld you could trade in, or which pocket pc you could get.

I got this ad this morning and even though I knew it shouldn't work, I thought I'd try anyway. I bought the ipaq last weekend for 110 after 50 dollar rebate and 40 dollar coupon. I went there today to have them pricematch themselves. So I asked if I could buy a 10 dollar handheld organizer, and trade it in. So the manager says he'll have to call and check if there are any restrictions. I thought my gig was up once he called, but he came back and said that it would be fine. He just treated the pricematch as a return and gave me a new receipt including a 9.99 charge for the cheapest organizer I could quickly find and a 50 dollar coupon. He ended up giving me like 43 bucks in cash.

Lets see what deal I got
200 - 50(rebate) - 40(coupon) - 50(trade) + 10(stupid organizer) = $70 Pretty sweet
And of course I had a 40 dollar gift check from the cheap hp 215 a couple weeks ago.
For less than $100 I got a digital camera and an ipaq. Gotta love staples.
