Ok, so maybe they're not so NSS to everyone else. But they are for me! I just got a "new" mixer and a "new" blender from my papa. Hes moving into my parents house and no longer needs this stuff, and I did. So for the first time since I moved into my apt over a year ago, I had a homemade frappe (milkshake for all you non-bostonians)! And tomorrow I'm going to bake cookies. Come on over if you want some. :)

Some people get rather excited about appliances... Heck, I was giddy for a day or two after I got my new microwave oven - yes, it's one of those iMac-coloured ones. ;)

And oh, your 'papa' is moving in with your parents??

I can't tell you how happy I was when I got my new Cerran top stove (retail $699, got it for $449 with free delivery and installation) and a microwave/hood. It is so cool to be able to cook without worrying about burning down the house with the fire trap that was installed when I bought it.

Enjoy your appliances, you will eventualy get used to them and take them for granted. But untill them, have fun.

Ah.

I wasn't thinking anything even remotely naughty/nasty! Honest! :D
