ok...the vmas are live right??? WRONG :angry: . So im watching em and its bout 7:30 here in ca. BTW its still light out and the sun is just about to go down. Well im watching the vmas and why is it light out there?? They were doin the red carpet thing like 5 min ago and its light out in new york... it should be like 10:30 there. When does the sun go down there? Doesnt this mean that this is a taped thing?

Anyways so the curtain goes up and there is no u2 just the instruments and the music starts playing... so obviously they go to a commercial... then when they come back carson daily is like and now u2 and then that same background music starts playing and they start their set apparantly something was wrong with one of the guitar amps.

I'm rather sad that the gorillaz didn't win anything, and what the hell was that that Britney did... the song sucked... if she didn't hold a snake at one point i would have probably left the room... on the other hand there was cleavege

Was Britney even nominated for anything? I don't remember seeing her on any of the nominations in what I saw of the show (the last 2/3 of the encore last night... yes, I was up all night...). However, she was the last performance of the evening. Maybe I just missed something... I must admit, she was looking mighty nice!! I noticed that she has gotten in better shape recently... she had a bit of flabbiness around the abs that seems to have tightened up in the last few months (since her Diary Of.... on MTV).

oh, lord have mercy on my black little soul. rammstein is the biggest damned joke in germany. their lyrics are more vapid than the strawberry shortcake theme song. the music ain't great, but it isn't horrible, but the lyrics are so assaultingly bad that listening to them just sets my teeth on edge. i think the only reason americans listen to them is that they don't understand the lyrics and they think ooo, german, cool...

and i do like korn, and that video was reasonably cool. just not as cool as walken.

fortuanatly for me i understand german ok the lyrics arnt anything special but their music kicks ass

i think freak on a leash was by far the bitchinest music video ive ever seen. The bullet was cool n all but i think the best part was that the music went along with the video, making it a true music video. Some songs dong go along with the tone of video that well but this one did.

I did like the walken video, cept.... was ne body else what the hell was going on at the end???:shrug: It was all cool with him running through the hotel... and out of the blue he starts flying. What a great way to end a cool video.... make the guy fly :rolleyes: .
