Another question:
I want to set up file sharing on my network, but I want to make it secure (password protected). I have two win2k systems and a lot of 98 systems.
How do I do this? I can set passwords on the 98 machines, but on the 2000 machines, do I have to make accounts for them? How? What kind of accounts? Also my 98 machines can't connect to 2000 machines saying that the user account has expired (which leads me to believe I do need to create account for people). But without a domain controller I think I can only create accounts for the local machine.
I tried creating an account with (local machine)/(user name), but it doesn't work.
