after three weeks of no caffeine, i'm baaa-aaack...

SOBE ADRENALINE RUSH.

it is one of those new breed of energy drinks, with mega-doses of b-vitamins, ginseng, guarana, inositol, l-carnitine, d-ribose, taurine, vitamin c... and caffeine, of course. i have tried four different energy drinks, and this one is DIFFERENT... i could actually feel myself perk up significantly. it was amazing. who needs cocaine?!?!?! this stuff is only $1.88 a can!!!!! and it tastes better than any of the others, which often taste like grass jelly drinks.

it's really scary how much i crave it two days after discovering it...:love:

Yeah I can't stop drinking that crap either. I got hooks a few months back and now I fell like if I don't drink at least one a day my whole body will turn into toxic goo instanly for it's not longer getting that sweet sweet wonderful beverage...

you too? i wonder if those "natural flavors" of which they speak are extracts of the coca leaf... just for color, you understand... hell, i'm not complaining, it's still cheaper than a dimebag.

oh yea, and you went from mickey d's coffee to this? a much better improvement, i'd say. personnally i haven't tried it yet, but now i have to. i usually get the sobe energy or the other bottled ones.

jeez, that's a tough one... if you can get quality sleep at you desk, save your twofitty. but if it's just gonna be uncomfortable dozing, get one... then buy your own at the grocery store for $1.88 and take them with you to work... and guard them well, because they are precious nectar... mmmmmm... *drool* (me runs off to get number two for the day...)

So yeah... Instead of buying a power drink to help keep me awake today, around 5:30pm I went to the bar across the street and had a few beers, after which I returned to work. Actually, I'm still here... talk about tired! Small amounts of beer do nothing but make me tired! :mad2:

doh... hope there are excessive rewards attached to this job o yours. small amounts of beer, like when i have a beer or two with lunch, are great... i get mellow... then they wear off and i get a pounding friggin headache. blech. i am sitting here drooling at the thought of another sobe. that would bring me up to a 6 dollar a day habit. eesh.

Don't hold me to this...but I read (forgot where) that somebody died for drinking too many redbulls...is that true? Just a word of caution. Don't know if sobe is the same.

i'm sure it is true. i don't know if red bull is one that has ephedrine in it or not, but some do, and that would make it especially dangerous. even without it, tho, you could mess yourself up... coffee can kill you...

but it says right on the can reccommended use 4 or fewer per day, so 400 musta been the LD50 for their test subjects... yummy... i could have 400 a day and only a 50% risk of dying... mmmmmmm...

right. i'm going to bed now.

I have tried the Sobe energy drink and I do think it was good. I like a lot of the other drinks that Sobe has.

I also like the Hansens Energy drink, but I never liked Red Bull.

Caffeine has NO affect on me. I can drink a lot of soda and energy drinks (even late at night) and still go to bed and sleep no problem. Sometimes I wish I could use it to my advantage. It's funny though, because if my mom drinks anything with a good amount of caffeine after 12 NOON, she will have a hard time sleeping that night.

all other sobe's are inferior. i do like the oolong tea and the green tea, but the "elixir" line is pretty :puke: - syrupy.

Had to have one of these drinks after reading your post. The store didn't have Marakuja, so I picked the flavor Drive with epimedium, ginseng, muria puama with selenium an zinc.

Haven't woken up yet, I'll be looking for the marakuja stuff. :)

Oh yeah, it was $1.25 for a 20oz. glass bottle.

Ok I just tried Sobe Adrenaline Rush and this stuff is THE BOMB!!!!! As an architecture student all-nighters are pretty much a regular routine of my everyday life (I'll miss them now that I'm graduating), so caffeine is an essential part of my perfect breakfast. I've tried many different kinds of caffeine drinks. The classic JOLT, Hansen's, Red Bull, etc etc... But this one is by far the tastiest one I've ever tried. I've had two so far and I'm hooked. Try it if you have a chance.

Anybody know where I can get these for cheap? Does costco have them?
