View Full Version : Where's Colin P?
So I was waltzing through the store and saw that Colin Powell was on the cover of Time this week. Where is this guy? Is he too afraid that associating himself with the Shrub will be detrimental to his political image? Or is he just shy? I was really hoping that he'd be more active when he was appointed. I'm disappointed at best.

Colin doesnt have any 'juice.' They cut his legs out from under him a couple of times early and he quit trying. It's obvious that they nominated him for window dressing rather than a sudden respect for his abilities.

I don't think so. I think he would be a great president. But then again, he is military... think of our budget...

I'd vote for him. I think he is a reasonable person and he wouldn't blow the entire budget on the military (besides, Congress determines the budget, not the Prez).
My greatest fear about having a black president is that he could have a polarizing effect. It could end up inciting racial conflict. I think Colin Powell could overcome that because he rises above the issue.
Colin Powell considered running for President but decided against it. His wife did not want him too.
