CEO of Verizon says "We would enjoy knocking down little old ladies and stealing their Social Security checks, but instead, we will just rob all the pay phone users" (actually, I think I am paraphasing a bit too much :heh: )

I believe he also said something about since they began marketing cell phones to crack dealers, they stopped using as many pay phones.

Either way, the customer gets it in the butt cheeks.

i say get a cell phone, i haven't used a payphone in about 3-4 years

i dont recall having EVER used a payphone... I have a cell now and now home phone (CABLE modems ROCK d00d)

I think that all the phone co are in it together...and they are making a big huge profit that can pay the national dept!! Just joking...I have no idea how it all works:confused:
