Got mine too. That was an easy $100. Sent in another one using my brother's name and info. Wonder if he got it. Hmmm...

I haven't gotten anything yet. I actually ordered something so I hope they don't charge me full price even though I'm on the "winner's list."

Now, if only there was $100 worth of decent stuff to buy from bolt.com. Oh well, I guess its not that bad (can't complain about 100 bucks)...I think I'll pick up a lava lamp and those pants that snap off into shorts...

hey guys, these guys are frauders; after you use up your 100 bucks, never go back. They cancelled on all of the people that did the phone guess for a GC. Their agreement clearly said that you could call them up and guess a time, and that they would give you the 100 bucks, so i did, and guessed the right time. I called a couple of times, and yesterday, the rep said "yeah, we decided to change the deal because we didn't like the way it was working out or something like that." I just said "F*** you, now get me a manager." When he said that there were none working, i repeated "I SAID 'GET ME A MANAGER,' so do it NOW! I don't care if you have to call one and wake them up!" The jack-off still just said "you're going to have to call back between 9 and 5. I work between 9 and 5! These guys blow!

They didn't defraud me. They gave me a $100 GC a couple of days ago for guessing the correct hour via snail mail (one for my bro also); and they just e-mailed me another $100 GC code today, b/c I complained about not being able to get my order through between 10 and 11pm on May 25th. So, all together, they've given me $300 in GC. What the heck am I gonna do with all this free store credit?! http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/eek.gif

I was pretty skeptical when I wasn't able to get through on the website and didn't get through on the phone until about 1 1/2 hours after the promotion ended, but they kept their word, I just got this e-mail... I'm getting a couple of DVDs and that Tiger Woods game for the N64, if they aren't all out of stock now!!

Hey,

Thanks for participating in Bolt's Free O'Clock Special promotion. As
you are probably aware, there was an overwhelming response to the
promotion and it's been difficult to sort through customer response. Thanks
for your patience!

You are receiving this email because you contacted our customer service
department concerning the promotion at some point between the start of
what turned out to be the "Free O'Clock Special Hour" (10:00 p.m. to
10:59 p.m.) and the time when the winning hour was posted on www.bolt.com. (http://www.bolt.com.) Your concern about not being able to submit an entry to the promotion
because of shopping connection issues was noted. As you may be aware,
the official rules of the promotion state that Bolt is not responsible
for "failure of Bolt to receive any entry or purchase information on
account of technical problems or traffic congestion ." As a result, you
are not eligible to receive a prize under the official rules of the
promotion.

However, Bolt values your business and wants you to have a good
shopping experience with us in the future. So, please accept a complimentary
$100 Bolt gift certificate. (If you previously received an email
specifying a different gift certificate amount, please disregard it.)

Here is your gift certificate code: XXXXXX-XXXX (yeah like I'd post that on the Internet!)

It expires on July 1, 2000, at midnight, so start shopping now!

Here's how it works:

When you are ready to check out, you'll be asked to enter some billing
and shipping info. Once you're done, you'll choose a payment method.

You should select "store credit or gift certificate number" if the
total cost of your purchase is under $100.

You should select "credit card + store credit/gift certificate" if the
total cost of your purchase is over $100.

Then just enter your coupon code (and, if necessary, your credit card
number) in the boxes provided.

If your purchase is less than the amount of the gift certificate, you
will have a store credit in your account. If your purchase is greater
than the amount of the gift certificate, your credit card will be charged
for the outstanding amount.

If you have questions or concerns, you can email [email protected]

I got my CD player last week but they said they charged my credit card full price but will eventually credit me $100. They said they'll send me an email confirmation as soon as they do... no email yet. I should have just done the GC thing.
