Argghh!! So hubby decides he is going to put on a new roof this weekend. After two days of constant hammering and scraping above me I am about in the looney bin. I wish it wasn't Sunday and there was someplace quiet to go....:bawl:

Really want him to stop?

Offer your services. Go up on the roof, pick up the hammer and start helping.

That will either make him stop, or give you the CC to go shopping :D

Those are all fine ideas, but this is Utah, and its Sunday, so even if I get the CC, there is nowhere open to spend money. (except Wal-mart, and that's even noisier than home)

well, do the next best thing, get the cc and put headphones on, crank up Merideth's "B*tch" song and shop online :D

When all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail.

Speaking of rubber hammers, I bought one for the tent stakes. And on the handle is a sticker that says "Must be 18 years or older to purchase"

So, I think to myself, but you can go buy a claw hammer with no ID?

The register didn't *bing* for an ID.

The girl at the register didn't ask for an ID.

So, why the sticker??

so the seller gets sued, and not the manufacturer, when some kid goes and bling-blings another one upside the head to steal his ice...
