Behind the scenes at G|A?

unless ne body else knows what goes on "behind the scenes" at G|A? this is kinda a question for leon and the higher authority people.

For a while ive wondered what happens at ga? like outside the site. Are there offices for G|A? Is there like a management team and corporate lawyers and things? Is G|A? involved in corporate scandals and things? How many people work for G|A? Are there people that work outside the site itself? Like G|A? janitors and salesmen and researchers and accountants and all kinds of people? Who and what really goes into making all this possible?

Far as I can tell, Apex runs it outta his house, and the other news poster-people Like Leon, Pennypinch, Ironchef, all report in daily through like a remote system, and post their stuff like that.

Something along those lines I'm guessing..

Not to burst all the fantasy bubbles, but.... :) Nija has it right. Apex runs it outside his house and all of use work either at home or a combination of home & work (like cheffy, pennypinch, etc.). :)

i think it's a combination of mysterX and Hapoo running this joint.

anybody ever see that sprint commercial where those tech guys in their apartment come out and see the "sunlight" that's what i imagine GA is like. 3 guys in the dark running the site 24 hours a day, searching for deals, ordering their supplies via peapod.com so they don't ever have to go out...

Actually most people on this website are bots. Apex is a AOL IM bot that I modified for the web. Leon is the name of my dog, also an IM bot. Hapoo is the neighborhood bum, and everytime he comes by and ask me for spare change his IM bot posts a message. Finally Jenny, who is my wife, and I run this website out of a double- wide in the middle of Kansas somewhere.

Just wanted to clear that up for the newbies. :)

Oooh, sweetheart, I didn't know we were telling everyone about our trip to Vegas & the We've Only Just Begun Wedding Chapel...And baby, you forgot to mention all the rugrats running around barefoot outside in the dirt! *sigh* Our oldest in 12, then there is 10, 8, 7, 6, 4, 2, 1, and 2 months. We love em all. :D
