This is trivial compared to the damage done today, but some gas stations in the Mid-West have reportedly raised prices to 5, 6 or 7 dollars PER Gallon. They claim we have a shortage of gas because of the blockages.
This is NOT TRUE, according to reports. If you see inflated prices, avoid them. If you see one a station doing that, report them.
These rumors and the inflated prices have at the least made a lot of people panic and the gas stations are packed, blocking the streets in some places. I am definitely going to report these places in and make these bastard pay...

There are "anti-gouging" laws in California because this type of cr@p happened during the earthquakes.
Hopefully they will be enforced.

Yes, in Oklahoma, (Tulsa & OKC mainly, I think), gas is about $6/gallon. Here in southwest Kansas, prices are going up to at least $4/gallon. But it isn't just one station. It is ALL of them... :(

Just remember these businesses a few weeks from now.
I am sure they will find themselves on the receiving end of the same sort of treatment they are foisting on others now.
Karma is real.

Mayor Guiliani (sp?) was saying last night if his people caught anyone price gouging, there would be very severe consequences.

Haven't seen any new gouging here in San Diego. But then they know we react to it in an unpleasant manner. Just the usual 25 cents over what most of the US is paying.
