If you worked in a bank or other place with cash in the WTC (there were a number of them) would you help yourself to some as you were evacuating?

There is almost no chance of getting caught (110 stories became less than 5) and cash is basically untracable.

If I didn't have any cash on me and it was sitting right in front of me, I would grab a handful to get through the disaster. I could not expect ATMs to be working after a disaster and I would want to survive. I'm talking about a few hundred dollars, not thousands.
Gotta eat.

If I had a couple of hundred on me or at home, I wouldn't bother.

That is friggin, sick, i heard about that, that is a horrible thing to do,

As for the money it doesn't matter it's there and either you take it or it disintigrates (i so messed up the spelling on this one)

If I had an idea that the buildings would collapse, then I think I'd take the money if it was right in front of me. However, after they do collapse, I doubt I'd be able to spend it thinking of all the people whose lives were lost.

I heard reports that hotels in manhattan were jacking up their rates. That's just messed up. My bro in law is there and the poor guy will probably end up spending over 2k in hotel bills because he's stuck there and can't find a flight home. Damn those greedy,money-grabbing,no good corporate SOBs. Damn them all.

Now these guys are greedy. But ebay put a stop to most (or all) of it.
