View Full Version : Osama Bin Laden is guilty REGARDLESS of if he masterminded these acts

In the bombings of the US Embassies in Africa and in the bombing of the WTC in 1993, there was clear and convincing evidence that Osama was guilty.
It was simply that he was on the loose that kept him from being convicted.

Therefore, whether or not he committed these recent acts, he deserves death.

The plan in 1993 was to topple the WTC towers. Only faulty engineering on the bomb makers' parts caused it not to occur. Those bombers should be treated just the same as the terrorists who actually succeeded.

Don't you mean 1993?

And I was just thinking. If we couldn't take out bid Laden in the eight years subsequent to the first bombing, what makes us think we can get him now? And if the answer is "we're going to use greater resources", why were we holding back before? Wasn't the 1993 bombing severe enough to take seriously?

I completely agree with the sentiment here. Bin Laden has to go down, and go down hard.

However, as I thought about this to myself earlier today, and how we should put a giant target on this guy and make him a wet spot on a wall somewhere, it occurred to me. Once we do that, we will have a mess of significant proportions on our hands. I thought to myself earlier, and I'll pose the question here. What would happen if we took out Bin Laden? I have to believe that there would be a significant and violent reaction from Afganistan/Taliban, etc. Would it be World War III?

I don't want to be reactionary here, but I have heard how many and fervent the followers of Bin Laden are. What would their reaction be, and what would all of that lead to?
