Yep I'm pretty sad now that I never got to see them in person. The view from there is incredible, and I too had no idea how tall they were. Good job renots. :thumb:

I've lived in New York, lived in Jersey....
been through manhattan, and drove by those buildings, but never stepped a foot in there :(

well, at least I can watch simpsons reruns, and see Homer get to go up and down both of them :)

Very nice pics. I wish those were still truthful depictions.

I have been there before. It was in 1987 (I was 9 y/o) on a family vacation. It was our East Coast trip. We started in Buffalo, NY (that is where my dad is from and some family is still there). While there we went into Canada for a day (Maid of the Mist is SWEET). After that it was NYC for a day/night. I remember that elevator ride in the WTC towers, 10 floors at a time until we got to the Observation Deck. My dad was filming the the video camera and was picking up tv stations with it, there were so many antennas up there.

The rest of the trip was a few days in DC (was there during 4th of July celebration.. AWESOME!!!), then down to Florida (Disneyworld/Epcot/Miami Beach/Keys/Southernmost Point).

Very fun trip.

I sorta remember some of those views that those pictures capture.
