This is the PROOF, directly from ABC's own site:

Bastards!!!

They should have sent in a Delta Force force guy with a gun instead of some moron with a mic.

They had their chance and were pussies.

In at least some part, the WTC tragedy should be on their head!

Yeah, I remember the interview. <sigh> Anything for ratings...

I am in no way condoning what ABC news did, but for Bin Laden to stay alive this long, I think it is HIGHLY likely that whoever did the interview with him was THOROUGHLY searched before he got a chance to see Bin Laden's face.

The right guy could kill him in half a second with his bare hands.

If his people, or others like him could hide a huge bomb in a tape deck on the Lockerbie flight, then ABC should have been able to do the same thing.

Even if they couldn't, simply carrying some tracking device (you can swallow them and they won't be detected) will allow the Israeli air force (if the USAF are concerned about PR) to pinpoint his location and send a few cruise missles there, moments after the reporter leaves.

I heard on the news that until about a year ago they were tracking his movements quite nicely by his cell phone calls. But then that suddenly went silent (meaning he probably got wise to broadcasting his location).

By the way, is this the interview where Bin Laden is holding the loaded automatic weapon in his lap during the interview?

I doubt they were just let in... probably searched
