I've been hearing thunder for the past 15 minutes, it sucks, the rescue works will need all the help they can get and clean clothes and stuff

that AND make things slippery, wet, cold, dirty and mucky. Itll settle the dust alright...right onto all the people. All those people stuck in the rubble gonna be cold tonight... itd be cool if they put up heaters or something.

At long as it doesn't rain enough to drown all the people. Rain CAN help. Many years ago a very tall department store (10+ stories) collapsed in Korea. THREE WEEKS after the collapse, people were still being rescued. The only reason they were able to survive was the moisture that had penetrated the rubble. The victims had soaked up the water with their socks and stayed alive by sucking on them.
