While getting ready for work, I really noticed the sound of the air traffic. I can be very discerning at times. I live right under a traffic route for Philly airport. The huge jets over head are only a couple hundred feet up.
It's raining here on the east coast this morning. And there is accompanied thunder. I heard thunder and got scared. It was the quick kind that sounded like explosions.
I am 200 miles from NYC. I am amazed and saddened that I am so affected by this event. To be scared of the rain and the sounds it brings.
