LESSONS FROM A FRIEND!
Most of the time, I have a policy of only using my own material in these devotionals. However, this is important words from a friend of mine that I felt ought to be shared in light of the recent events in our nation.
I was just wanting to remind you of a couple of things I know you know but things that need to be repeated in light of this kind of tragedy.
God is control.
We need to be thanking GOD that we know the GOD that is control.
We need to be thanking GOD that we can pray to the GOD that is control.
Let's make sure we do what God says to do in John 6:29. When he was talking to the people that followed him after they had been fed the five loaves and two small fish, he told them, when they asked what work they were to be doing, "your work is to believe on him who God has sent."
Let's be believing that GOD is control.
Let's be believing that GOD does not perpetrate this madness but He wants us to have faith in His control.
Also, our work is not to panic.
And, our work is not to cause or to pass on panic.
This is God scale kind of tragedy.
Let's remember God scale kind of Faith and Belief.
