I wasn't trying to be overly critical -- just pointing out a difference between their current scheme and his. I do think it is a great job.

doh - i cant believe i messed up the shaddow on the "?" on the right...

(i thought the original wasnt transparent thats why i kept the white background, AND, i was dumb enough to not save my "original" photoshop file so i could tweak it... oops.)

There is quite a bit more national support than I would expect as a result of this attack. I'm beginning to understand how people were so easily led into supporting the existence of internment camps during WW2 (not that I agree with that policy of american betrayal of american citizens or believe that we've gone anywhere near that far yet)...

hes using it currently... i made another one and emailed it to him though. I guess its saturday and hes doing what most ppl are - getting away from work (i.e. G|A). Hell take care of it when he gets back.

i really cant get rid of the jaggedyness w/o the original PSD file, which i dougt they'll let out. i think it'll work ok though.

well, heres what i did... i basically took the old logo, as a transparent gif, and cut it up.

i made layers of the "g o t a | p e x ?", "Redline....wallet", the curved thingy, and all the shadows.

to do this, i used the little selection tool, and pretty much set it on a 30pixel tolerance (to try to pick up more than just the colors in the center of the letters). and then went and split up the layers. Then i used each selection to make a cutout of the flag image. Beveled it, and blurred it. Then i turned on the shadows in the back to help smooth out the choppy edges, but it didnt work too well.
