Am I reading the 2nd one correctly as "kill/die" "Jews" "Yes/Support"? And if so.. is that something that Microsoft should be giving out as part of their supported software? Doesn't NYC have a high Jewish population?

NYC has the highest Jewish population of any city outside of Israel (may be #2 to LA, depends on the poll)

Um.. I just looked at the whole alphabet in wingdings and it's really pretty scary as a whole. It has an airplane, a bomb, several religious symbols, a skull and crossbones, V for victory hand signal and more.

Just out of curiosity, I entered NYC in Word and saw the same results. I then entered the alphabet in Word and went through conversions to Webdings and Wingdings. The character substitutions are always the same, no "magic" or easter egg.

Make sure you are using "wingdings" and not "webdings" and make sure you are typing capital letters.

Some time ago, MS was sued because in Microsoft Encarta, when you looked up the word "Ape" or maybe "Monkey", it showed the picture of a black couple. I don't know what became of the case, but some of their employees sure have issues...

Hmm...this sounds kind of like one of those 5+4+2=11 kind of coincidences to me. I mean, if you look at the entire wingdings uppercase alphabet, there are at least 4 symbols that could be interpreted as negative (5 if you count the airplane). Then you have 6 symbols that represent a type of religion. If I remember how to do this correctly, there is like a 7% chance that you'll get a derogatory message about a religion by simply combining any two letters at random. I guess it's possible, but I'm not convinced they did this on purpose.
